What is a charity gift card?

A Gifts That Give charity gift card lets you give someone the choice of a cause instead of an object. You pick an amount, we email the recipient a code, and they redeem it as a donation to whichever vetted Indian NGO they care about most. The charity receives the full amount you selected.

How much does it cost?

Gift cards start at ₹600, with preset amounts of ₹600, ₹1,200, ₹2,750, ₹5,500 and ₹11,000, or any custom amount above the minimum. On top of the gift value we add a 5% platform fee and pass through 2% payment processing charged by Razorpay — roughly 7.1% in total, because the payment fee applies to the platform-fee-inclusive amount. Because both fees are added on top, the charity always receives 100% of the amount you chose. The full formula and worked examples are on the platform fees page.

Delivery, expiry and redemption

• Delivered by email. Send it immediately or schedule it for a birthday or anniversary.
• No expiry date. Gift cards do not lapse — the recipient can redeem whenever they are ready.
• The recipient chooses the cause from our partner charities. A gift card is a donation, not cash or store credit, and cannot be withdrawn.
• 80G certificates go to the person who redeems the card, since the donation is made at redemption. See the 80G page for eligibility.
• Changed your mind? Unredeemed gift cards can be refunded under our refund policy.

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. No card details reach our servers.
